National Bank Pitch Competition Winners at YESAtlantic 2017

Congratulations to all 10 companies/entrepreneurs who pitched at the National Bank Pitch Competition at YesAtlantic 2017 on Friday evening, March 3.

We would like to give special recognition to the top 3 prize winners whose ideas are also significantly impacting health and the environment:

1st place ($3000) went to SMART, a company that is developing tools to measure edema in heart patients thus enabling patients and their caregivers to obtain medical treatment earlier and to help avoid hospitalization.

2nd Place ($1500) went to The Farmers Truck, a company bringing local produce to New Brunswick communities using a mobile farmers market.

3rd Place ($500) went to Methapal a company with a controlling platform to monitor the chemical balance of Methane gas for energy production.
