UNB, Gerry Pond and Mary Kilfoil Earn Start-up Canada’s Top Awards

On June 12, Startup Canada presented top entrepreneurial awards for Canada to Atlantic Canadian recipients. Gerry Pond earned the Wolfblass Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to entrepreneurship and innovation in Canada. The University of New Brunswick, home of the Pond-Deshpande Centre, J. Herbert Smith Centre, the International Business and Entrepreneurship Centre, and the Wallace McCain Institute, was named Most Entrepreneurial Post-Secondary Institution of the Year. Mary Kilfoil of Dalhousie University was awarded Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year.  For further details, visit Entrevestor Article.
